I think the default Rainmeter logo is a pretty bland so I decided to spice it up a little.

Download includes PNG and ICO. Based on the work of kenz0.

To change the Rainmeter icon, place the Rainmeter.ico file into Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\Icon

Then add this to Rainmeter.ini (right-click tray icon -> Edit Settings):
[TrayMeasure]
Measure=CALC
TrayMeter=BITMAP
TrayBitmap=Icon\Rainmeter.ico

IDK Why, but this isnt working for me... I have a portable version of Rainmeter, that might be why. I edited the Rainmeter.ini as instructed. Set the path to the .ico but the tray Icon remains the default one.

very nice, thanks for sharing. :D

just a note though, there is no file called rainmeter.ini in the current version of rainmeter, the settings file is now called default.ini and it's in the program folder.

All that someone would have to do is change traybitmap to the address for the new icon using the skins folder as a root correct?
